Tethered Balloon Rides
Skyview Balloons is happy to offer tethered hot air balloon rides, We have a basket that has a door for easy loading and unloading, this is something not every operator has. The door is for ease and most importantly safety!
Pricing
We charge $1300/hour and generally have a 2 hour minimum. Why is it so expensive? Tethering puts more wear on the equipment and setup is more extensive than a flight.
How high do we go?
How high we go is based on a number of variables, winds being the most important. Generally 40-50 feet. But sometimes 75 feet or more! We need about 250ft x 250ft space to tether.
How many people can go in an hour?
This varies based on how quickly people line up and follow direction on loading and unloading but thanks to our door basket we can usually take at least 75 people an hour. However we can slow down or speed up to fit the group size.
